2022 Love Island winner Ekin-Su has made headlines as it was announced she signed the biggest clothing deal in the show’s history.

The 27 year old, who won over the nation’s hearts as she and Italian boyfriend Davide gained a landslide victory after accumulating 63.7 percent of the public votes, has just signed over a £1 million deal with Oh Polly.

A source broke the news to The Sun, stating: “After speaking with all of the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned to her own values of sustainability and therefore decided against signing to a fast fashion brand.

“She is the most in demand Love Island star EVER.”

So with Ekin-Su becoming the latest in Love Island’s history to make six figures with a fashion deal, we take a look at who paved the way and signed their million pound deals first…

One of the first Love Islanders who fashion brands were eager to sign six figure deals with was Molly-Mae Hague, who was runner up on the show alongside boyfriend Tommy Fury in 2019.

Upon leaving the villa Molly-Mae bagged a £500,000 PrettyLittleThing deal, and in 2021 was named Creative Director of the brand. She is now rumoured to have a net-worth of £6 million making the 23 year old one of the richest contestants in Love Island history.

2021 winner Millie Court is another contestant who became a millionaire over night when she signed a lucrative deal with ASOS. The star signed a multi-million fashion deal with the brand, after previously working there as a buyer’s assistant before she entered the show.

The 25 year old winner who split up from boyfriend Liam Reardon in July 2022 also signed a million pound deal with beauty brand Eylure late last year, making her net-worth approximately between 2-3million.

Dani Dyer won the fourth season of Love Island in 2018 alongside Jack Fincham, winning over the nation as she and boyfriend at the time beat other contestants such as Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson.

The 26 year old, who welcomed her first child with Sammy Kimmence in January 2021, signed multiple deals with In The Style. The new mum still works with the brand now, and is set to be worth 2.2million.

Liberty Poole won the nation’s hearts last year as we watched her relationship unfold on screen with Jake Cornish, so it was no surprise when she left the villa brands were fighting to sign the star.

She instantly landed a whopping £1 million deal with fashion brand In The Style, and has since also worked with Skinny Tan and Boux Avenue.

Last, but by no means least, we have another leading lady from this year’s show, Gemma Owen.

The 19 year old daughter of Michael Owen, who rose to fame whilst partnered with Luca Bish came in second place after losing out on the top spot against Ekin-Su and Davide.
