fortnite rogue and gambit in love

Fortnite has released another X-Men collaboration featuring mutants Rogue and Gambit from the famed comic series.

Marvel and Fortnite collaborate pretty frequently. From one-off appearances like Dead Pool in Chapter 2 Season 2 to entire seasons themed around the earth’s mightiest heroes.

And every season in between adds at least one new Marvel character to the roster of skins. Whether it be through the Item Shop, Battle Pass, or in-game event.

Fortnite doesn’t just focus on the most popular heroes like Spider-Man or Captain America. It makes sure to also include more obscure characters like Blade, Taskmaster, and the X-Force.

Fortnite adds Rogue and Gambit

Rogue is one of the more popular characters in the X-Men, while Gambit is a little less known. However, these two love birds have made their way into Fortnite.

A surprise release with little build-up, the two mutants are available to purchase in the Item Shop along with their pickaxes and gliders. They have released at 7 PM EST on February 24, 2022.

Rogue and Gambit Prices

Each of the mutants can be purchased separately for 1,500 V-Bucks, or they can be bought as a discounted bundle for 2,100 V-Bucks. The bundle also includes an exclusive loading screen.

Additionally, there are two pickaxes, two gliders, and two emotes for sale. Purchasing these all individually would cost 3,500 V-Bucks, but there is a discounted bundle that includes all six items for 1,800 V-Bucks.

fortnite rarest pickaxes

Here are the top 5 rarest pickaxes in Fortnite that players were able to purchase from the Item Shop using V-Bucks.

With the hundreds and thousands of cosmetic items Fortnite has produced, players are always looking for the rarest ones to equip. Wearing a rare skin or using a prized pickaxe gives players a status of superiority.

Some cosmetics, like the Renegade Raider skin, are the most sought after, but they likely won’t ever be available again. Others are rare simply because they haven’t been in the Item Shop in years.

This list will go over the Top 5 rarest pickaxes in Fortnite that players were able to purchase in the Item Shop. This excludes any Battle Pass or event-exclusive rewards.

5. Empire Axe – 1,089 Days

Fortnite Empire Axe pickaxe

The Empire Axe was introduced in Chapter 1 Season 3. And it made frequent appearances in the Item Shop after its release. However, the last time it was for sale was on February 28th, 2019- 1,089 days ago.

4. Armature – 1,090 Days

2. Turbine – 1,167 Days

Fortnite Turbine Pickaxe

Turbine, introduced in Chapter 1 Season 6, has only been in the Item Shop for three days since its release. It’s last time on sale was on December 12th, 2018.

1. Drumbeat – 1,267 Days

Fortnite Drumbeat pickaxe

The current rarest pickaxe has not been in the Item Shop since its original release during Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5. With an Item Shop lifespan of two days, the Drumbeat pickaxe was last seen on September 3rd, 2018- 1,267 days ago.

These dates are subject to change as Epic Games can choose to feature any of these pickaxes in the Item Shop. However, due to their lack of popularity, these might stay the rarest pickaxes in Fortnite for some time.

fortnite uncharted collab all four skins

Fortnite is planning another crossover, this time with the Uncharted video game series.

Crossover content has been some of the most exciting parts of Fortnite. Players have seen it all from smaller crossovers like Master Chief or Kratos, to full-blow season-long crossovers like the Marvel Season.

It seems that there’s no limit to who or what Fortnite will collab with. Other video games, movies, streamers, and even musicians. However, the Uncharted crossover is a Fortnite first.

That’s because, for the price of one crossover, players are getting a collaboration with both the Uncharted video game and movie. Nathan Drake and the gang will be here sooner than you think.

As a part of the Uncharted x Fortnite crossover, players can purchase two skins from the series: Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer. However, each skin comes with both a video game and a movie variant.

This means players can play as Nathan and Chloe the way they look in the video games. As well, you can play the Tom Holland and Sophia Taylor Ali versions of the characters.

In addition to skins, players can purchase two pickaxes, a glider, and an emote.

Uncharted maps in Fortnite

Beyond purchasable cosmetics, players can also find the new Drake’s Map item scattered around the island. These maps will lead players to piles of loot that’s enough to supply a whole squad.

However, you won’t be the only one searching for treasure, so it might be best to steer clear of the loot.
